Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Painting Competition Towards A Drug Free India
The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) was launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on August 15, 2020, to combat substance use in India. It focuses on prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and community awareness, reaching over 12.71 crore individuals nationwide. NMBA aims to foster a sense of responsibility, reduce stigma, and promote accountability in substance use prevention. The NMBA, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting a Painting Competition to encourage participants to depict the importance of courage, resilience, and community support in fighting substance use through art.
The theme for the competition is “Towards a Drug-Free India.” Participants should visually represent healthy, drug-free lifestyles, balance of mind, body, and spirit, and holistic well-being through their paintings.
Eligibility Criteria
  • This competition is open to all Indian citizens.
  • A valid government-issued ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.) is required.
  • There is no entry fee for participating in the competition.

  • Submission Guidelines
    Format:
  • Entries must be submitted in PDF format.
  • Acceptable media include hand-drawn sketches, paintings, or illustrations.
    Description:
  • Each entry should be accompanied by a 50-100 word description (in English or Hindi) explaining the concept behind the artwork.
    Profile Requirements:
  • Ensure that your MyGov profile is complete with accurate details (name, photo, address, email, and phone number). Incomplete profiles will result in disqualification.
    Submission:
  • Each participant can submit only one entry.
  • Multiple submissions from the same participant will lead to disqualification.
    Originality:
  • Entries must be original and comply with the Indian Copyright Act of 1957. Any infringement will lead to disqualification.
  • Terms & Conditions
  • A committee of experts will evaluate the entries, and their decision will be final.
  • Winners will be notified via the email provided in their MyGov profile.
  • Winners must respond within 3 working days of notification, or another winner may be selected.
  • Participants are responsible for any tax deductions applicable to the prize money.
  • NMBA and MyGov will not return the submitted entries.
