Yashasvi Women Education And Skill Development Scheme 2025
The Yashasvi Women Education and Skill Development Scheme is an initiative by the JSP Foundation to empower underprivileged girls and women by providing financial assistance for higher education and vocational training. Many young women face economic challenges that hinder their educational and career aspirations. This program aims to bridge that gap by offering financial aid, ensuring they have access to quality education and skill development opportunities. The initiative aligns with the vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and has already impacted over 5,600 girls across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. By addressing financial and social barriers, the Yashasvi program strives to create a brighter future for women, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Completed application form Statement of marks from previous examinations Residential proof certificate Bonafide certificate from school/college with fee structure Annual family income certificate Self-declaration regarding non-receipt of other scholarships Photocopy of Ration Card Photocopy of Bank Passbook (Applicant’s or Institution’s) Four passport-size photographs Photocopy of Aadhaar Card (Candidate and Parents/Spouse)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Only female candidates are eligible to apply. The scheme is open to candidates from all social categories. The applicant must have passed Class 10 for skill development courses, +2 for professional and higher education courses, and graduation for post-graduate courses. The annual family income must be below 2,00,000, as certified by revenue authorities. The age of the applicant must be between 16 and 30 years. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, or Jharkhand. This scholarship is applicable to Class 11 to 12, bachelors & masters in various fields.
