Yashad Sumedha Scholarship 2026
The Yashad Sumedha Scholarship 2026 is a joint initiative by Yashad Sumedha Organization and Hindustan Zinc Limited, Udaipur, to provide financial assistance to talented and underprivileged students from select districts of Rajasthan. This scholarship is designed exclusively for first-semester B.Tech students enrolled in government colleges and belonging to Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, or Ajmer. The scholarship promotes technical education among students from economically weaker backgrounds and offers annual financial support. Special preference is given to girls, orphans, single-parent children, and BPL (Below Poverty Line) families, making it an inclusive and empowering opportunity.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Application Form (Online Filled) Self attested copy of 10th & 12th Marksheet Self attested copy of last semester/year Marksheet 5 Photographs 1 Family photograph- Photograph must be clicked in front of applicant house and must be sent with this form otherwise application will be rejected. Copy of Pensions Payment Order(P.P.O.) (If applicable) Income certificate Death Certificate, if applicable Copy of Rajasthan Domicile/Residence Certificate Copy of BPL card, if applicable Copy of cover of Bank Passbook Copy of Fee Receipt Note: The hard copy of the form must be forwarded by the Head of the Institution where the student is studying and sent to before 15 October 2026
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and domiciled in Rajasthan. The applicant must be in the first semester of B.Tech at a government college. The applicant must belong to one of these districts: Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, or Ajmer. The applicant must have scored more than 75% in Class 12. (Applicants with lower scores may still be considered if they meet preference criteria.) The applicant's family income must be less than 2,00,000 per annum. Students currently receiving the scholarship must maintain first-division marks to continue receiving benefits. Preference Will Be Given To: Students from single-parent families BPL (Below Poverty Line) students Orphaned students Among all applicants, girls will receive top priority
