VKC Charities Loan Scholarship 2025
The VKC Charities Loan Scholarship 2025 - 26, initiated by Vadlamudi Kotaiah Choudary Charities, is a unique financial assistance program tailored for academically bright students facing financial hardships. Founded in honor of Sri Vadlamudi Kotaiah Choudary—a visionary advocate and community reformer—the program reflects his commitment to supporting youth through education. This scholarship is structured as a loan-based aid, wherein selected students receive funds during their education and are expected to repay the amount once they secure employment. The scheme primarily focuses on helping students from Andhra Pradesh who are pursuing professional and degree-level courses such as Engineering, Medical, B.Sc, B.Com, and MBBS, with a strong emphasis on merit and socio-economic background.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Duly filled Application Form Valid Email ID and Mobile Number Applicant’s ID Proof Passport-size Photograph Caste and Income Certificate Previous Year/Semester Marksheets Entrance Exam Rank Certificate (if applicable) Bonafide Certificate or Admission Letter from current institution Tuition Fee Receipt for the current academic year
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. The scholarship is available for OC, SC/ST, and OBC categories. It is open to both male and female students. Fresh applicants for Engineering, Pharmacy, and Medical courses must have an EAMCET rank of 25,000 or below. For other degree programs, applicants must have scored at least 80% in Intermediate (12th standard). Students already enrolled in 2nd year or beyond must have secured a minimum GPA of 8.0 in the previous academic year. Preference is given to students who have studied in government schools/colleges and are from rural areas.
