The Viksit Bharat Fellowship 2026, launched by BlueKraft Digital Foundation, is a prestigious one-year research and writing fellowship designed for professionals, scholars, and emerging writers who want to contribute to India’s development narrative. The program offers a monthly stipend and enables fellows to work flexibly without leaving their current jobs. Fellows explore India’s growth across governance, economy, culture, technology, foreign policy, social sector, and more—producing high-quality books and publishable work that reflect India’s transformation on its journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047. The fellowship includes mentorship from subject experts, access to BlueKraft’s research resources, exclusive interactions with policymakers, and opportunities to engage with national thought leaders.

Applicants submit the following documents: Passport-size Photo Resume (PDF) Last Qualification Transcript Fellowship Proposal Writing Sample Two Recommendation Letters Publication PDFs (optional)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Open to applicants worldwide. Minimum age: 18 years. For Associate Fellows: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputed institution. Strong interest in research, analysis, and writing. Prior portfolio, internship, or relevant work experience preferred. For Senior Fellows: Master’s degree (Bachelor’s accepted in exceptional cases). 5–15 years of experience in academia, government, private sector, or research. OR at least 2 published books, OR at least 5 published academic or industry-standard works. For Distinguished Fellows: Well-recognized national or international subject expert. OR 15+ years of domain experience with proven leadership. OR at least 5 published books, OR at least 20 published academic/industry works.
