The TMB Foundation Scholarship Scheme for Arts and Science Colleges 2026 is a financial assistance program by TMB Foundation, aimed at supporting meritorious undergraduate students in Tamil Nadu. Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Admission letter. Bonafide certificate from college. Course fee structure. Mark sheets of the qualifying examination. Ration card & income certificate (issued by Tahsildar). ID proof & address proof. Medical certificate (for differently-abled students). Declaration form (downloadable from portal).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Must be a domicile of Tamil Nadu. Must have enrolled in an undergraduate degree course in Arts, Science, or Commerce. Admission should be under merit quota in a Government, Government-Aided, Government-Recognized Self-Financing College, or University department. Must have secured 70% marks or above in the qualifying examination. Family annual income should not exceed 3,00,000. Must maintain a minimum of 70% marks every semester. Should submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) describing career plans. Should not have any academic arrears (past or current). Relaxations: Income criteria are waived for wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel. Students from single-parent households or without parental support may receive relaxation in the 70% academic requirement. Income criteria also not applicable for wards of serving Armed Forces Personnel. If no applications are received under differently-abled categories, funds will be diverted to the general category.
