The Dalai Lama Trust Scholarship 2025
The Dalai Lama Trust Scholarship 2025 is a fully funded scholarship initiative by The Dalai Lama Trust, Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Established in 2003, the Trust aims to support the educational aspirations of deserving Tibetan students in India by offering financial assistance for Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programs. The scholarship is dedicated to academically promising students, those with strong moral character, or those from financially disadvantaged or orphaned backgrounds.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Undergraduate Applicants: Green Book (GB) – front & back Registration Certificate (RC) Class X Mark sheet Class XII Mark sheet Best Boy/Girl Certificate (if available) Passport-size photo Duly filled Form A and/or Form B Postgraduate Applicants: Green Book (GB) – front & back Registration Certificate (RC) Undergraduate Mark Sheets (year-wise) Provisional or Final Degree Certificate Internship Completion Certificate (if available) Passport-size photo Note: All documents except the passport photo must be compiled into a single PDF file.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens & residents of Himachal Pradesh. This scholarship is exclusively applicable to both the genders. This scholarship is exclusively applicable to all categories. This scholarship is applicable to Bachelors, Diploma & Masters in various fields. Undergraduate Eligibility: Students who have consistently performed well in academics but couldn’t score well in the Class 12 Board examinations. (Recommendation from school required, please download Form ‘B’) Students who are responsible, sincere, honest, and demonstrate good moral conduct. (Recommendation from school required, please download Form ‘B’) Students who are orphaned, semi-orphaned, or belong to a destitute family. (Recommendation from Tibetan Settlement Office required, please download Form ‘A’.) Please compile the relevant form with due signature and stamp and attach it to the document file. You can download Form A and Form B. Postgraduate Eligibility: Only those students who have been awarded Undergraduate scholarships by the Dalai Lama Trust are eligible to apply for postgraduate scholarships.
