Sultan Chand Foundation Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2026
The Sultan Chand Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2026 was launched by Shri Sultan Chand Trust to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families. This scholarship covers 100% tuition fees for a maximum of INR 200,000 per annum for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. To maintain eligibility for renewal, students must meet the prescribed academic excellence standards. The scholarship is intended for students whose family income is less than 2,00,000 per annum, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder talented individuals from pursuing their educational goals.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Academic Marksheet/School Certificate for Class 10th and 12th. School Leaving/Character Certificate. Identity Proof of the student and parents (PAN, Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card). Passport-size Photographs (4 copies). Asset and Income Certificate from the Revenue Officer (valid for no more than 6 months). Write-up detailing course, college, and future vision.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to all states. The scholarship is open to students enrolled in colleges/universities within India. The applicant's family income must be less than 2,00,000 per annum. Undergraduate applicants must have secured 90% or above in Class 12, while postgraduate applicants must have secured above 70% in Graduation. The minimum qualification required is Class 12 for undergraduate courses. For postgraduate courses, applicants must have completed their undergraduate studies with at least 70%. The scholarship is available for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses only. Doctoral courses are not eligible. Applicants must be under 25 years of age for Bachelor's degree scholarships and under 30 years for Master's degree scholarships.
