Sri Badrika Ashram Emerging Youth Scholarship 2026
The Sri Badrika Ashram Scholarship, established by the revered saint Om Swami in 2011, aims to empower deserving undergraduate students from Himachal Pradesh by providing financial assistance and professional mentorship. Rooted in the Ashram's mission to rejuvenate ancient spiritual traditions, this scholarship is designed to support students in their pursuit of quality education without the burden of financial constraints.
Through this scholarship, the Sri Badrika Ashram aspires to guide students on their educational journey, providing them with the tools and resources to achieve their dreams and contribute to their community and society at large.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents:
  • Adhar Card (Front and Back: Please put both sides in PDF and then upload)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Income Certificate
  • 10th Standard Marksheet
  • 12th Standard Marksheet
  • Ration Card (Front & Back: Please put both sides in a PDF document and then upload)
  • Detailed last 3 years Parent/Guardian Bank Statement with detailed transactions
  • BPL Certificate (if applicable)
  • Letter of Admission
  • Institute Fee Structure
  • Passport photograph
  • Eligibility Criteria
    Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Applicants must hold Indian citizenship and be residents of either Himachal Pradesh or other states.
  • This scholarship is open to applicants of all genders.
  • This scholarship is open to applicants from all categories, without any specific restrictions based on caste, creed, or other demographic factors.
  • Age of the applicant must be between 18 and 22 years.
  • The candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student in any undergraduate degree/diploma program in Himachal Pradesh.
  • For BPL Category: Minimum 65% in both Class 10th and Class 12th.
  • For Low-income (less than 5 lacs per year) Non-BPL Category: Minimum 75% in Class 10th & class 12th.
  • If a candidate belongs to the low-income group, then they should also belong to one or more of the following sub-categories in order of preference: Orphaned students.
  • Single-parent households – where mother or father are separated or expired.
  • Families with cases of chronic/terminal illness.
  • Parents who are ex-servicemen from the Indian Armed Forces and/or engaged in manual jobs, i.e., daily wage labourers.
  • Families with multiple daughters.
  • Meritorious Students who have attained more than 90% in class 12.
