SOF Girl Child Scholarship 2025
The SOF Girl Child Scholarship 2025-26, offered by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), aims to empower academically talented girl students from financially underprivileged backgrounds. SOF, a renowned organization committed to enhancing academic excellence through Olympiads and educational initiatives, offers this scholarship to ensure that bright young girls continue their education without financial hindrance. By identifying and supporting 300 deserving girl children across India, this initiative promotes gender equality in education and helps students progress toward a better and brighter future.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: GCSS Application Form Recent Photograph Previous Year’s Report Card Caste & Income Certificate Applicant’s ID Proof Bank Passbook Additional Documents (if required)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Each school can nominate only one girl student for the scholarship. The nominated student must be studying in Class 1 to 10 in a school located in India. She must have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in her previous class. (This condition may be relaxed for students with major physical disabilities.) The combined monthly income of her parents should be less than 25,000. The nomination form must be certified and signed by the school Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress. The nomination must be submitted in the prescribed format along with all required documents. The last date to submit the nomination is 31st December 2025. All nominations will be evaluated by a committee appointed by SOF, and their decision will be final.
