The SMILE Scholarship 2026 Program is dedicated to supporting students from underserved communities who face significant financial challenges in accessing quality education. This initiative aims to empower academically talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to pursue their educational dreams with confidence. The scholarship offers financial assistance, mentorship, and guidance to break the cycle of poverty and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Recent passport-size photograph with the applicant’s name written on the back. (Optional) Photograph of the family in front of their home. Original or photocopy of the student's last annual exam report card (translated/annotated if in another language). Application Supplement Form, detailing the student's involvement in community, school, and home activities (attach testimonials for achievements). Headmaster’s recommendation letter, or if unavailable, recommendations from a teacher-in-charge and a respectable person who knows the family personally. A one-page request letter written by the student, explaining why they deserve the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to all states. This is open to students of all genders and categories. Applicable for students enrolled in high school (9th-12th grade) or college in any field of study. Applicants must belong to low-income families struggling to meet basic needs. Must demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to education. Preference will be given to students from marginalized and underrepresented communities.

List of Benefits
High School Students (Grades 9-12): Monthly stipend ranging from 1,000 to 1,500, based on financial need and academic performance. The stipend covers tuition fees, books, transportation, and other educational expenses. College Students (First-Year Onwards): Monthly stipend between 2,000 to 2,500, depending on tuition requirements for the chosen field of study. Scholarships are awarded based on both merit and financial need. The scholarship is a non-refundable grant; however, college students are required to sign a 50-50 Regift promissory note to contribute back to the foundation in the future.
