SDM Educational Trust Scholarship 2026
The SDM Educational Society Scholarship, offered by the SDM Educational Trust, Ujire, has been supporting underprivileged and meritorious students across Karnataka since 1985. Under the leadership of Sri D. Veerendra Heggade, the Trust provides monthly financial assistance to students pursuing professional and postgraduate courses, especially in career-oriented disciplines. Every year, more than one crore rupees is distributed directly to students’ bank accounts, helping them continue their education without financial burden. The scholarship application process is generally conducted between November and December each year, enabling students to focus on academic excellence and career growth.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Recent Photograph Caste & Income Certificate Copies of Marks Cards Aadhar Card Proof of Studying: Letter from College Bank Account Details Ration Card
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be permanent residents of Karnataka. This scholarship is open to both the genders. This scholarship is open to all categories. Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a postgraduate or professional course. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 65% marks in their 10th and 12th examinations or an equivalent CGPA of 8.0. The annual income of the applicant’s parents must not exceed INR 1.5 lakh. Renewal applicants must be existing beneficiaries of the scholarship. Renewal candidates must have successfully completed the previous academic year without any failures. All applications and renewals must be submitted before the end of December.
