SMILE Welfare Foundation is a legally registered, non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged children by providing them with quality education, skill development opportunities, and support. The foundation operates through various initiatives, including Sadhana, Punnagai Paalam, Rural Reach, and Atchaya, focusing on nurturing and empowering children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through these projects, SMILE ensures that financial constraints do not hinder a child's access to education and a better future. The organization also emphasizes holistic development, bridging educational gaps, and addressing fundamental needs like food, shelter, and clothing for those in need.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to the state of Tamil Nadu. This scholarship is exclusively open for all genders. This scholarship is open to students from all communities, including OC/FC (Open Category/Forward Caste), BC/MBC (Backward Class/Most Backward Class), SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe), and other communities. This scholarship is exclusively open to students from the Sadhana 2018, 2019, and 2020 batches from Tamil Nadu. This scholarship is open to students from the following family backgrounds: first-generation graduates, those with a single parent or guardian, rural background, families earning daily wages, and full orphans. This scholarship is open to students pursuing courses in Engineering, Medical, Paramedical, Arts & Science, Diploma/Job-oriented programs, and other related fields. This scholarship is open to students from the following institution types: Government, Government-aided, and Private institutions.
