Pre Matric Scholarship For Students With Disabilities 2025
The NSP Pre Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities 2025-26 is a government-funded initiative by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students with disabilities who are pursuing education in Classes IX and X in government or recognized schools. The goal is to reduce drop-out rates and empower students with disabilities through inclusive education and support.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Disability Certificate Income Certificate Domicile Certificate Marksheet of Previous Class Fee Receipt of Current Academic Year Bank Account Details Photograph Aadhaar Card or Bonafide Student Certificate
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a citizen of India. Must be a regular full-time student of Class IX or X in a Government or Government-recognized school. The applicant should have a disability of not less than 40%, certified by a competent medical authority. The family income should not exceed 2.5 lakh per annum. A maximum of two disabled children from the same parents are eligible. In the case of twins, both can apply. The scholarship is applicable for only one year per class; students repeating a class are not eligible for the same scholarship again. Applicants cannot hold any other scholarship/stipend simultaneously. If selected for another, they must choose one.
