Pachaiyappas Trust Scholarship 2024 25
The Pachaiyappa’s Trust Board, Chennai, offers scholarships every year to support economically weaker students of the Arya Vysya Community. The scholarship applies to students pursuing UG, PG, M.Phil., Ph.D., Diploma, and ITI courses in Government-recognized institutions in Tamil Nadu. This initiative ensures that deserving students from the Arya Vysya community can continue their higher education without financial burden.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Community Certificate (from Deputy Tahsildar or above) Income Certificate (issued by Tahsildar within the prescribed period) Disability Certificate (if applicable) Fee Paid Challan (previous year) Attested Xerox copies of certificates & photographs (by a Gazetted Officer) Aadhaar Card copy Bank Passbook first page copy Self-addressed envelope with ₹10/- stamp affixed
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must belong to the Arya Vysya Community. The student should be studying in Tamil Nadu; students outside Tamil Nadu are not eligible. The student must have passed the previous year’s examination (First-year students are not eligible). The applicant should be enrolled in a Government-recognized institution. The student should not be receiving any other scholarship from Government or private sources. Only one applicant per family is eligible. The annual family income should not exceed 2,50,000. Students in Evening Colleges must submit an Unemployed Certificate from the Principal/Head of Institution. Correspondence course students are not eligible.
