OM Charitable Trust Educational Scholarship 2026
The OM Charitable Trust is dedicated to promoting education enriched with Indian heritage values. It actively supports students pursuing studies in ancient scriptures, fostering their growth through inter-school competitions that attract participation from all states across India. With over 178 Vedic and Sanskrit institutions affiliated, the Trust aims to nurture confidence, camaraderie, and enthusiasm among young learners of Vedic knowledge. The Trust also honors scholars, conducts lectures on Indian traditional disciplines, and educates students on the historical, cultural, and social excellence of Indian heritage. Additionally, financial assistance is provided to address the educational and medical needs of the underprivileged. Through these initiatives, the OM Charitable Trust strives to uphold and propagate India’s rich cultural legacy while empowering the next generation with knowledge and skills for holistic growth.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Application Form: Filled in the specified format. Academic Records: Self-attested photocopy of the qualifying exam mark sheet. Proof of Identity and Age: (e.g., Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Ration Card, or Passport). Fee Demand Notice/Challan: Issued by the school/college. Income Certificate: Income tax returns or other valid proof of income for father/mother/guardian. Employment Proof: Certificate or evidence of employment for father/mother/guardian. Admission Letter: If a new school/college is opted for, include the admission letter and Transfer Certificate (TC). Applicant's Photograph: Recent passport-size photograph. Shortfall Proposal: If the Trust-approved amount is less than the fee demand, a proposal on how the shortfall will be covered must be included. Family Background Letter: A letter explaining the family’s financial situation and the need for assistance from the Trust.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to all states. Special preferences and concessions may be offered to children who are handicapped or from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. No preference will be given based on caste, creed, or religion. Annual family income (combined income of father, mother, or guardian) must not exceed 2 Lakhs. This scholarship is applicable to all courses in various fields. Academic Performance: School Level: Minimum 80% in the qualifying examination. College Level: Minimum 70% in the qualifying examination. Competitive Entrance Exams: Minimum 60% in the qualifying examination. Age Limit: School Level: Maximum 20 years. College Level: Maximum 24 years. Professional Courses: Maximum 28 years.
