Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana 2026
The Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship 2025-26 is an education assistance Scholarship offered by the Labour & ESI Department, Government of Odisha, through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal. This Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to the children of registered construction workers to help them continue their education without financial hardship. Under this Scholarship scheme, eligible students from Class VI to Postgraduate and Professional courses can receive financial assistance as per course duration. The Scholarship aims to reduce dropout rates and promote higher education among economically weaker families engaged in construction and labour sectors. Beneficiaries can avail this Scholarship once per academic year and may apply even if they are receiving benefits from other departmental Scholarship schemes.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhaar Card Bank Passbook Copy (with Account Number & IFSC Code) Passport Size Photograph Marksheet of Last Exam Passed College ID Card (for higher courses)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a resident of Odisha. The applicant must be the child of a registered construction worker under the Labour & ESI Department. The applicant must be enrolled in a recognized school, college, or professional institution. The applicant can belong to General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, or EBC categories. The applicant must apply through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal for the Academic Year 2025-26. Eligible Courses: Class VI to Class X Plus 2 Plus 3 MA, M.Com, M.Sc B.Ed, Nursing, Teacher Training Architecture Ayurvedic Engineering (B.Tech) Homeopathy Hotel Management M.Tech MCA MBA Medical Pharmacy Other recognized professional courses
