NCPA Citi Scholarship for Young Musicians 2025
The NCPA Citi Scholarship for Young Musicians 2025–27 is a prestigious initiative by the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, aimed at nurturing young Indian talent in Hindustani classical music. This scholarship supports advanced training in Hindustani vocal music (Khayal and Dhrupad) and percussion instruments (Tabla and Pakhawaj). Selected scholars will receive monthly financial assistance for two years, enabling them to focus on rigorous musical training under accomplished gurus. The scholarship period runs from April 2025 to March 2027, and shortlisted candidates will be selected through a video-based audition process.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens and meet the age criteria as on 1 March 2025. For Khayal vocal and percussion instruments, candidates should be between 18 and 30 years, while Dhrupad vocal applicants may be up to 35 years of age. Candidates must be students undergoing musical training and should not be recipients of any other music scholarship or grant during the scholarship period. Full-time or part-time working professionals, professional musicians, and artists holding ‘A’ grade from All India Radio are not eligible. Applications must be submitted only via email, and late or courier-submitted applications will not be accepted.
