The Naveen Jindal Yashasvi Scholarship (NJYS) 2026, initiated by the Naveen Jindal Foundation, is designed to support meritorious students from underprivileged and economically weaker backgrounds. The scholarship aims to help eligible students continue their education or pursue professional and vocational courses without financial burden. By covering a significant portion of course fees, the program empowers deserving students to achieve their academic and career aspirations while promoting inclusive educational growth within the Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhaar Card Voter ID / Residence Certificate Parivar Pehchan Patra Mark Sheets of Qualifying Examinations Admission Letter Income Certificate / Family ID Declaration Form Attendance Certificate (for renewal cases)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to Haryana State. This scholarship is exclusively open for both genders. This scholarship is exclusively open for SC, BC, OBC & General categories. The applicant must be between 16 and 28 years of age at the time of application. The annual family income from all sources should not exceed 3,00,000, as verified through the Parivar Pehchan Patra or Income Certificate issued by the Government of Haryana. Applicants must be residents of the Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency. Students must have secured at least 70% marks in Class 12 or the last qualifying examination. There is no minimum marks requirement for students pursuing skill or vocational training courses. Students opting for JEE/NEET coaching after Class 12 are eligible if the coaching institute is located within the Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency and the scholarship will be applicable for one year only. The applicant must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship for the same course. For continuation of the scholarship, students must maintain 75% attendance and secure at least 60% marks in semester or relevant examinations.
