Maa Foundation Sports Scholarship 2025
The Maa Foundation, in collaboration with Actipass, invites applications for the Sports Scholarship to support talented athletes from Valsad District. This initiative aims to help young sportspersons build a career in their chosen sports discipline by providing financial assistance.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Hand Written Application Form Application Letter Passport-size Photograph Marksheet of the Last Examination Passed Sports Certificates Address Proof (Aadhaar Card and either Electricity Bill or Ration Card) Proof of 5-Year Residency in Valsad Student’s Bank Details (Passbook or Cheque Copy) Death Certificate (if applicable) Divorce Proof (if applicable) Bank Statement of the Last 6 Months Salary Slip or Form-16 of Parents
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a resident of Valsad District for a minimum of five years. The applicant's annual family income should be 6 lakh or less. The applicant must have qualified and been certified by a recognized sports agency at the Taluka, District, or State level in any sport. The applicant should not be availing any government sports scholarship. Preference will be given to: Girl children of widowed or divorced mothers. Orphan girls. The applicant must be below 18 years of age. The scholarship is applicable only for domestic sports events and not for international competitions. Only individual sports are eligible; team sports will not be considered. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a personal interview.
