L R Mundra Memorial Scholarship 2026
The L.R. Mundra Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of the late Sh. Lekh Raj Mundra, a retired Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Police, who was a resident of Haveli Kalan, Distt. Rupnagar, Punjab (India). Mr. Mundra's generous donation to promote higher education among the Saini Bradri community is managed by the Saini Charitable Education Trust. The scholarship funds are derived from the annual interest on a fixed deposit in the Trust’s bank account. The scholarship aims to identify and support talented individuals within the Saini Bradri community. It seeks to provide financial assistance to deserving candidates, enabling them to achieve their educational goals and bring recognition to their community. Recipients are expected to have a strong commitment to societal service.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Attested copies of the educational certificates as a proof of academic record. Domicile Certificate from the competent Authority. Proof of age. Proof of caste. Salary Certificate( If employed). Write-up in his/her own handwriting of 15-20 lines on the subject ”Why I deserve this scholarship?” Receipts of Fees and Funds paid to the Institute. Certificates of guarantees of two Responsible Persons who will stand Sureties for financial liabilities in case the awardee fails to complete the course of studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be residents of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, or Chandigarh (U.T.). This scholarship is exclusively open to both the genders. This is open to individuals pursuing full-time Postgraduate, Doctoral, or Postdoctoral studies in Science (Medical & Non-medical), Technology, Commerce, Management, or Mass Media at a prestigious national institute. Applicants' age must be up to 35 years old. Applicants must be a member of the Saini Bradri community, regardless of socio-economic background. Note: The Application must be submitted on Prescribed Form which can be had from the Trust Office on the payment of Rs.100 in cash or cheque in favour of Saini Charitable Education Trust (Regd.)Ropar.
