Kiran Girls Scholarship 2025
The Kiran Girls Scholarship Program 2025–26, offered by the Persistent Foundation, aims to empower meritorious girl students who wish to pursue higher education in the field of engineering. The scholarship provides financial support every year until the completion of B.E./B.Tech courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science (AI/ML). By supporting deserving students from economically weaker backgrounds, this program encourages young women to build strong careers in technology and innovation.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhaar Card Proof of Residency (e.g., utility bill) Previous Year Marksheets Income Certificate Admission Proof / Fee Receipt Bank Passbook (student’s account) Passport-size Photographs Additional documents (if required)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The scholarship is exclusively open for girl students. The applicant must be pursuing engineering courses in colleges located in Pune or Nagpur districts, Indore, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Goa state. The applicant’s annual family income must be less than 8,00,000. Freshly enrolled First-Year Students: Must have secured 85% marks in Class 10 and 70% marks in Class 12, and be admitted in 2025 to Computer Science, IT, or Data Science (AI/ML). Direct Second-Year Students (Diploma Holders): Must have secured 85% marks in Class 10 and 70% marks in Diploma, and be admitted in 2025 to Computer Science, IT, or Data Science (AI/ML). CET/JEE scores will be considered while scrutinizing applications. Continuation of scholarship requires maintaining CGPA/SGPA ≥ 7 without backlogs and attending mandatory mentoring/training programs organized by Persistent Foundation.
