Karnataka Labour Children Scholarship 2025
The Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund, established under the Karnataka Labour Welfare Act, 1965, aims to promote the welfare of employees working in various industries, along with their dependents and children. The fund supports multiple welfare schemes to enhance the well-being of contributing employees. It operates through an annual contribution system where employees and employers contribute in a 20:40 ratio, amounting to Rs. 60 per employee. Employers are responsible for remitting this contribution to the Welfare Fund before the 15th of January each year. This initiative plays a vital role in supporting the workforce by financing activities and schemes that improve their quality of life.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Karnataka. This scholarship is exclusively open to both genders. This scholarship is exclusively available to General, OBC, and SC/ST categories. Applicants must be children of labourers. Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in their preceding class for general category candidates, and 45% for SC/ST category candidates. This scholarship is applicable to students pursuing High School, PUC, ITI, TCH Courses, Degree, Postgraduate, Engineering, and Medical studies in various disciplines. Assistance will be provided to only one student per family.
