Kalvikaram Scholarship 2025
The Kalvikaram Scholarship 2025-26, launched by the LMES Foundation, is a flagship initiative started in 2019 to uplift underprivileged students in Tamil Nadu. The program goes beyond financial support by offering scholarships, grants, and mentorship to students, ensuring they can pursue higher education without financial hurdles. Alongside covering expenses such as tuition, hostel, mess, and transportation fees, Kalvikaram connects students with experienced mentors who guide them in academics and career growth. The initiative also ensures transparency by regularly updating donors on the progress of supported students.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Kalvikaram Application Form Passport Size Photo Photo with Parents (inside or in front of the house) House Preview Video (60-100 seconds, portrait mode) 10th Marksheet 12th/Diploma Marksheet College Admission Letter/Bonafide Certificate NEET Score Card (for medical students) Student's Aadhar Card Father's Aadhar Card Mother's Aadhar Card Income Certificate Bonafide Certificate from College (with fee structure)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The scholarship is open only to students from Tamil Nadu. Applicants must have secured 90% or above in both 10th and 12th examinations. Only 1st and 2nd-year students pursuing courses in Engineering (BE/BTech), Medicine (MBBS/BDS), Allied Medical (BSc/BVSc), or Fine Arts are eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in Government or Government-aided institutions. Eligible institutes include Anna University campuses, Government Engineering Colleges, Government-aided colleges (like PSG, CIT, Thiagarajar), and Central Institutes such as CIPET, CECRI, and Indian Institute of Handloom Technology.
