Jalappa Education Foundation Scholarship 2025
The Jalappa Education Foundation Scholarship 2025–26, established under the leadership of Smt. Vijayalakshmi R. L. Jalappa, is dedicated to supporting the Arya Idiga community students across Karnataka. The scholarship is awarded to meritorious and economically weaker students pursuing education from PUC, Diploma, ITI, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional courses such as Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, and others. The initiative aims to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder deserving students from achieving their academic and career aspirations.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Passport size photograph SSLC/10th and PUC/12th marks card Previous 3 years’ or semesters’ marks cards (UG/PG students) Aadhaar card (address & ID proof) Institution-issued Identity Card Aadhaar-linked New BPL Card Transfer Certificate (with domicile and caste details) Fee paid receipt for the current course Copy of Bank Passbook (showing photo, account number & IFSC code) Marks statements attested by the Head of Institution with seal
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must belong to the Arya Idiga community and hail from the districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chikkaballapura, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Hassan, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Bellary, Vijaynagar, Raichuru, Koppal, or Yadgiri. Students must be studying PUC, Diploma, ITI, Any Degree, B.E., BVSc, B.Pharm, BHMS, BDS, MBBS, Any Master’s Degree, MVSc, M.Pharm, or MBBS. First-time applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% in the previous academic year. Renewal applicants must show at least a 5% improvement compared to their previous results. Students must belong to families with a new Aadhaar-linked BPL card, low-income farmers, or agricultural laborers. Applicants must be enrolled in regular colleges affiliated with recognized universities. Students of correspondence/part-time colleges are not eligible. Applicants must have a bank account in their own name in a core banking branch. Students who passed an examination in the 2nd attempt or later are not eligible.
