The Indus Towers Scholarship Program 2026–27 is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Indus Towers Ltd., formerly known as Bharti Infratel Ltd., and implemented by the Shishu Sarothi Centre for Rehabilitation & Training. This scholarship is dedicated to supporting students with disabilities from the North-Eastern states of India by providing financial assistance to pursue full-time vocational training and skill development courses. The aim is to empower these individuals with the skills needed for sustainable employment and self-reliance, ensuring inclusivity in education and economic opportunities.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Government-issued Identity Proof (e.g., Voter ID, Passport, Driving License) Disability Certificate Income Certificate BPL Card (if applicable) Class 10 Marksheet (mandatory) Class 12 / Higher Secondary Marksheet (if applicable) Graduation/Postgraduation Marksheet (if applicable) Admission Fee Receipt Last Semester Marksheet (if applicable) Course Prospectus (if available) Recent Passport-size Photograph
Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility RemindersAs long as you are an Indian national, your geographic location will not disqualify you. However, ensure you meet the other core criteria: Disability: A certified benchmark disability of 40% or more Age: Between 14 and 40 years as of June 1st 2026 Academic Merit: Must have cleared Class 10 or your preceding examination with at least 45% to 55% marks (depending on the specific course tier). Financial Status: Belongs to the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category or an Economically Weaker Section (EWS) with a gross annual family income of less than ₹8 Lakhs. Geographic Eligibility Categories To balance its national outreach and its historical roots, the selection framework typically categorizes applicants into two groups: Category I:Students who are state subjects or domiciles of the Northeast States (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura). Category II:Students from the rest of India (all other states and union territories).
