Higher Eduction Support Trust Scholarship 2025
The HEST Interest Free Loan Scholarship 2025–26, offered by the Higher Education Support Trust (HEST), is dedicated to uplifting underprivileged yet talented students in Gujarat. This scholarship provides interest-free educational loans to brilliant students from financially weak families, helping them pursue higher education in engineering, medicine, chartered accountancy, architecture, performing arts, and related professional fields. Focused on inclusivity, the program supports students irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Eligible students are those who have completed their Higher Secondary School (12th Science) in Gujarat and secured admission into approved professional degree courses at reputed institutions.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Application Form Passport-size Photograph Applicant’s ID Proof 12th Grade Science Marksheet School Leaving Certificate Income Certificate Professional Allotment Letter NEET / JEE / GUJCET / NATA Score Sheets Additional Documents (if required)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Gujarat. Must have obtained minimum 75% marks or Grade A1/A2 in PCM/PCB in Class 12. Students scoring 225+/300 in PCM/PCB are eligible. PCM applicants appearing in ACPC/other entrance exams must have scored 70+ marks. The applicant’s annual family income must be below 3,00,000. Must have secured admission to approved professional degree colleges/institutes. Not eligible if: Studying in self-financed/NRI quota colleges. Annual course fees exceed 3.3 lakhs.
