The Harsh and Payal Hada Scholarship 2026, established in 2010, is an initiative designed to provide financial support to deserving students facing financial constraints, despite demonstrating exceptional academic potential. The scholarship offers grants of up to Rs. 1 Lakh per student, which are directly disbursed to the respective School/Institution, with no cash reimbursement provided to the students. This scholarship is available for students pursuing Higher Secondary (Class XI, XII), Graduation, and Post-Graduation courses. The primary focus of the program is to support students who show strong academic performance but are hindered by financial challenges. Special preference is given to students enrolled in Government or Reputed Colleges. The goal is to provide opportunities for students who might otherwise be left behind due to financial disadvantages, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations. The Harsh and Payal Hada Scholarship Program not only offers financial assistance but also acknowledges and nurtures the academic potential of students, helping them achieve their educational dreams and create a better future for themselves.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: A handwritten application detailing the reason for seeking the scholarship and explaining the financial challenges. The application should also include a comprehensive family background with income details of each family member. A recommendation letter from a Teacher or Principal of the Institute. Attested mark sheet from the respective school and boards for Class X, XII, College, or University (as applicable). Proof of admission and enrollment, along with supporting documents indicating the annual course fee. Note: All of the above-mentioned documents should be merged into a single PDF and sent via email.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The scholarship is available for financially disadvantaged Indian citizens. Female students with above 85% and male students with above 90% in Class X and XII, respectively, are eligible to apply. The family’s annual income should be less than 4 Lakh/ Less than 30,000/month. Preference will be given to students studying in Government or reputed colleges. Priority will be given to students pursuing professional courses like MBBS, Engineering, Law, Chartered Accountancy, and similar fields. Candidate selection involves a comprehensive screening and interview process. Continuous educational evaluation will be conducted for selected candidates. The scholarship amount will be disbursed through Cheque/DD made in the name of the educational institutes. Applications may be rejected without specifying reasons. Eligible courses for the scholarship include Class 11 & 12, MBBS, Engineering, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional courses in various fields.

This scholarship programme is open to students -
a. Pursuing H.S. or Class XI-XII along with preparations for NEET or JEE
b. 1st or 2nd year students pursuing MBBS / Engineering courses from reputed government colleges holding General rank below 50000 in entrance examinations like NEET or JEE.
c. 1st or 2nd year students pursuing professional courses like Chartered Accountancy or CS / CMA.
d. Open for all Students, preference for student from West Bengal / Orrisa / Northeast who can appear for in person interview in Kolkata shall be given preference.
