The Hakeem Abdul Hameed Scholarship 2025-26 is a prestigious initiative by the Hamdard National Foundation designed to provide financial assistance to students from minority communities, SC, ST, OBC, and general categories pursuing higher education. This scholarship supports students enrolled in technical, professional, or degree courses at recognized universities and institutions across India, including Jamia Hamdard University. The program aims to uplift financially weaker students by helping them manage the costs associated with their academic journey and encouraging them to achieve excellence in education.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Bonafide Certificate (from the Principal/Head of Institution) Academic Records (10th, 12th, UG, and PG mark sheets) Income Certificate Identification Proof (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Bank Passbook) Sports Participation Certificate (if applicable) Character Certificate (from the last attended institution)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The student must be a permanent resident of India. The applicant must belong to Minority, SC, ST, OBC, or General categories. Students must be enrolled in degree, diploma, professional, or technical courses recognized by state or central boards. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Class 12 examination. The maximum age limit is 25 years as of July 1, 2025. The annual family income should not exceed 3,00,000 from all sources. Applicants should not be availing any other scholarship or financial aid simultaneously.
