Hamdard Education Society Loan Scholarship 2025
The Hamdard Education Society, New Delhi, established the Talent Search and Scholarship Scheme in 1986 at the instance of the late Janab Hakeem Abdul Hameed Saheb. This initiative provides loan scholarships to exceptionally bright Muslim students across India, with a primary focus on Science, Engineering, and Medicine, while also considering Commerce and Social Sciences (including Economics). The scholarship aims to support meritorious but financially needy students in continuing their higher education and nurturing them into future leaders. The loan scholarship is awarded on a merit-cum-means basis and is renewable annually based on academic performance. Repayment begins two years after completion of education, ensuring that the scheme can benefit more deserving students in the future.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship application form Passport size photograph Bonafide Certificate: Issued by the Principal or Head of the Department. Academic Records: Mark sheets and certificates from 10th, 12th, UG, and PG levels. Income Certificate: Proof of annual family income. Identification Proof: Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, or Passport. Sports Participation Certificate (if applicable).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a Muslim student. Only regular students are eligible. Applicants must have secured at least 80% aggregate marks in their last qualifying examination. Students who passed in 2025 in the following levels may apply: High School / Higher Secondary Intermediate / Senior Secondary Graduation Applicants must intend to continue education up to the academic year 2026–2027. Apart from marks, factors like intellectual brilliance, creativity, leadership qualities, and ambition will also be considered.
