Guru Harkrishan Educational Society Scholarship 2025
The Guru Harkrishan Educational Society Scholarship is a merit-based financial assistance program designed to support students pursuing vocational and professional courses in India. Offered by the Guru Harkrishan Educational Society (GHES), a registered charitable trust based in Chandigarh, this scholarship aims to empower economically weaker students who are enrolled in fields such as medical, engineering, teaching, computer science, management, and other technical disciplines. The program ensures that deserving candidates can access quality education without financial constraints. Since GHES operates solely on public donations, the availability and amount of the scholarship are determined based on the funds received each year. Special consideration is also extended to orphans, physically challenged students, and those from highly disadvantaged backgrounds.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Previous Year’s Mark Sheet Income Certificate Affidavit of Total Family Income Salary Certificate (for employed parents) Pension Certificate (for pensioners) Income Tax Return Acknowledgment (if applicable) Recommendation Letter from Head of Institution Proof of Disability / Death Certificate (for special cases)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be citizens of India. The applicant must be currently enrolled in a recognized professional or vocational course such as medical, engineering, computer technology, teaching, science, or management. The student must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their most recent examination. The combined monthly family income of both parents should not exceed 50,000. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship or financial concession from other sources. The student must continue their course without any interruptions and appear for the final examinations. Applications must be submitted through the Head of the Institution, along with proper authentication.
