E Medhabruti Scholarship 2025
The e-Medhabruti Scholarship is a merit-based Scholarship scheme launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha to provide financial assistance to deserving students pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Technical/Professional courses. This Scholarship aims to support meritorious students from Odisha whose parental income does not exceed ₹6,00,000 per annum. A total of 14,500 scholarships are awarded every year, and selected students receive financial support for the entire duration of their course. Eligible candidates can apply for the Scholarship only in the first year of admission.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Residence Certificate Income Certificate Last Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet Bank Account Passbook (First Page) College ID Card / Admission Proof Aadhaar Card
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be permanent residents of Odisha. The annual income of the applicant’s parents from all sources must not exceed 6,00,000. Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination. Students are eligible to apply only in the year of joining (first year) of the course. The applicant must be pursuing a regular full-time course in a recognized institution approved by the relevant regulatory authority. UG Merit Scholarship: Applicants must have passed Class 12 (+2) from CHSE Odisha, CBSE, ICSE, or an equivalent board with 60% or more marks and be enrolled in a regular +3 degree course. PG Merit Scholarship: Applicants must have completed a +3 degree with at least 60% marks and be pursuing a regular non-professional postgraduate course. Technical & Professional Courses: Applicants must have passed +2 or an equivalent qualification (or +3 degree where applicable) with 60% or more marks and be enrolled in recognized professional courses such as Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, or allied fields.
