Dr Moni Bhaumik Educational Foundation Scholarship 2026
The Dr. Moni Bhaumik Educational Foundation Scholarship 2026 is a financial assistance program aimed at supporting meritorious students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Established in 1999 by Dr. Moni Bhaumik, a renowned physicist and pioneer in laser technology, the foundation aims to help students pursue higher education in Engineering, Medicine, and Science. This scholarship is exclusively for students from West Bengal (excluding Kolkata & Howrah city areas) and is awarded based on academic excellence and financial need. Selected candidates receive financial support to cover their educational expenses and are required to attend an interview for final selection.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Passport size photograph Recommendation letter from the Headmaster/Headmistress of the last attended school Income certificate from a competent authority Higher Secondary (HS) or equivalent marksheet Proof of admission in college/university
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to the state of West Bengal. This scholarship is applicable to both the genders. This scholarship is applicable to all categories. Applicants must be residents of West Bengal (excluding Kolkata & Howrah city areas). Applicants must have secured at least 70% marks in the Higher Secondary (HS) or equivalent examination. Applicants should have secured admission in an undergraduate course in Engineering, Medicine, or Science at a reputed institution. The annual family income must not exceed 60,000.
