The Dhrithi Foundation, Mangaluru, recognizes that education is fundamental to nation-building, fostering responsible, thoughtful, and enterprising citizens. Despite the awareness among the ruling class of the importance of education, more than half of India's population remains illiterate even after seventy years of independence. Compounding this issue, many schools and colleges are poorly equipped, understaffed, and experiencing declining educational standards. To address these challenges, the Dhrithi Foundation offers scholarships aimed at empowering individuals through education, helping them become productive members of society and contributing to the nation's development.
