Dadabhai Naoroji Loan Scholarship 2026
The Dadabhai Naoroji Loan Scholarship 2026 is a social welfare initiative launched by the Areez Khambatta Benevolent Trust (AKBT) to commemorate the legacy of Dadabhai Naoroji, a pioneering Indian nationalist, educator, and the first Asian Member of the British Parliament. Introduced on the 100th death anniversary of Dadabhai Naoroji, this interest-free loan scholarship aims to support Indian students pursuing full-time postgraduate education in India. The scholarship focuses on empowering deserving students from diverse backgrounds by providing financial assistance for professional courses such as Management, Entrepreneurship, Medical, Engineering, and related fields. The loan amount is awarded once at the beginning of the course and is repayable in easy installments after two years of course completion, ensuring access to education without immediate financial pressure.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants should be Indian nationals. This scholarship is open to all genders. This scholarship is open to all categories. Applicants must be Indian nationals and graduates of a recognized Indian university. Candidates should have a consistently good academic record along with notable achievements. Students in the final year of their degree or those awaiting results are eligible to apply. Applicants may apply even if admission or offer letters are not available at the time of application. The scholarship is applicable only for full-time postgraduate courses pursued in India. Selection is open irrespective of caste, creed, gender, or community. Note: The Trust would collect recommendations from various social bodies, educational institutes including, community trusts like Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat etc. before awarding and the final decision on the award rests with the trust. Also it is to be noted that the amount of loan scholarship would be given free of interest and has to be repaid in easy installments after two years of the completion of the study.
