The Shri D.Y Uppar Educational and Social Foundation is a non-profit organization that actively supports students from the Uppara community in achieving academic and personal growth. The foundation offers the Meritorious Student to recognize and encourage outstanding academic performance among students. The Meritorious Student aims to honor toppers from the Uppara community who have excelled in their SSLC (10th Grade) or PUC (12th Grade) examinations. The initiative is part of the foundation's broader efforts to promote education, leadership development, and skill-building among community members.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Recent Passport-Sized Photograph Caste and Income Certificate Address Proof (e.g., Aadhaar card, Voter ID). School/College Identity Card Mark Sheets of the latest exam passed Printed Application Form with signatures from the student and parents.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This is open to students residing in Karnataka. This is exclusively open to both the genders. Applicants must belong to the Uppara community. Students who have passed SSLC (10th Grade) or PUC (12th Grade) examinations. Applicants must have secured high marks or a notable percentage in their respective board exams. This scholarship is applicable to SSLC, PUC, and other courses across various fields.
