CH Muhammedkoya Scholarship 2026
The CH Muhammedkoya Scholarship 2026 is a financial assistance scheme launched by the Directorate of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala to encourage and support girl students from minority communities in pursuing higher education. Named after the former Chief Minister of Kerala, C.H. Muhammed Koya, this scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers for deserving students and promote academic excellence among minority women. The scholarship is applicable for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Professional courses offered by government, aided, and recognized unaided institutions in Kerala.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Mark Sheets Allotment Memo Bank Passbook Aadhaar Card Nativity Certificate Minority/Community Certificate Income Certificate Ration Card Hostel Certificate (if applicable)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be female students belonging to recognized minority communities such as Muslim, Latin Catholic, Converted Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, or Parsi. The applicant must be a native and permanent resident of Kerala. Students must be pursuing UG, PG, or professional courses in government, aided, or recognized unaided institutions within Kerala. Applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed 8,00,000 from all sources. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship for the same course, except lump-sum or merit-based assistance. For professional courses, students admitted through merit seats are given preference.
