Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship 2025
The Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2025 is a flagship initiative by the Government of India aimed at supporting meritorious students from low-income families in pursuing higher education. Managed through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), this scheme offers financial aid to students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs at recognized institutions across the country. The objective of the scholarship is to promote academic excellence and reduce dropout rates due to financial constraints. By directly transferring funds to students’ bank accounts, the scheme ensures transparent and timely support for their academic journey.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Class 12 Marksheet Income Certificate Bonafide Certificate from Institution Aadhaar Card Bank Passbook Caste Certificate (if applicable) Domicile Certificate
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Students must have secured 80% or above marks in their Class 12 examinations from a recognized board. Applicants must be enrolled in a regular full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course in a recognized college or university. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed 8 lakh from all sources. Candidates should not be availing any other central government scholarship. The scholarship is applicable to students pursuing general as well as professional courses such as engineering or medicine.
