BC Jindal Vidya Scholarship 2025
The BC Jindal Vidya Scholarship 2025–26 is an educational initiative by Jindal India Thermal Power Ltd (JITPL), a reputed organization operating a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant in Derang, Angul District, Odisha. As part of its commitment to sustainable community development, JITPL supports local communities through initiatives in education, health, skill development, environment, and livelihoods. This scholarship program aims to empower female students by providing financial aid, helping them continue their education without financial barriers. Through this scholarship, JITPL promotes educational equality and encourages meritorious students to achieve academic success and contribute positively to society.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhar Card Details Proof of Identity Proof of Address Bank Passbook Copy Previous Class Marksheet(s) (as applicable) Income Certificate / Income Tax Return (ITR) / Ration Card Current Year Fee Receipt / Fee Structure (Tuition and Non-Tuition) Bonafide Certificate from School/College Note: All documents must be clear and uploaded in .jpeg or .png format only.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Odisha. Only female students are eligible to apply. Open to all categories of students. The annual family income should not exceed 3,00,000. Must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous academic year. The applicant must have a valid bank account in her own name. The scholarship is open to students studying in Classes 9 to 12. Specific Eligibility: For High School Students (Classes 9–10): Applicable only to students of Baneshwari Government High School and Government High School, Derang, located in Angul District. For College Students (Classes 11–12): Open to students from Government Kaniha College, Angul, who have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in their last academic examination.
