Aravind Prabhu Law Scholarship 2025
The Aravind Prabhu Law Scholarship, established by the Prabhu Family Charitable Trust, is dedicated to supporting underprivileged students in Karnataka who aspire to pursue a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. Inspired by the life of Shri Aravind Prabhu, who overcame hardships to fulfill his dream of becoming a lawyer, this scholarship emphasizes resilience, hard work, and the transformative power of education. The program offers financial assistance to deserving students, with a special focus on orphans, enabling them to study at reputed law colleges in Karnataka, including Chanakya University (Bangalore), JSS Sakri Law College (Hubli), and SDM Law College (Mangalore). Beneficiaries are encouraged to “pay it forward” by helping future generations, creating a cycle of empowerment and societal change.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Application form (PDF/Word as provided) Academic mark sheets (Class X, XII, and Graduation) Proof of admission/enrollment in LLB course Income certificate of the family Identity proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID) Passport-size photograph Personal note on eligibility and career goals
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The student must be enrolled or enrolling in any year of an LLB course at the selected law colleges in Karnataka. The applicant must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in both Class X and XII board examinations. The applicant must also have scored at least 60% in graduation. The annual family income must not exceed 6,00,000 from all sources. To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum of 60% marks each year and reapply annually.
