The Swabhiman Anjali Scholarship is a flagship initiative by Swabhiman, sponsored by IMPACT, Bhubaneswar and Circle of Friends, aimed at empowering meritorious students with disabilities from underprivileged and disadvantaged backgrounds. With over 20 years of commitment to disability rights, inclusion, and education, Swabhiman provides this scholarship to help students pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, technical, and skill-based courses aligned with their abilities and aspirations. The scholarship supports students throughout the academic year with a rolling application process, ensuring inclusive access to education for persons with disabilities as recognized under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Completed Application Form Educational Certificates (Matric, +2, +3 as applicable) College Transcripts (Official) Disability Certificate Proof of Age Residential Certificate College ID Card Aadhaar Card Passport Size Photograph Full Length Photograph Personal Statement Letter Faculty Recommendation Letter. Note: Soft copies of the application packet must be emailed to "[email protected]" Selected candidates will be informed to submit hard copies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to all states. This scholarship is applicable to all genders. This scholarship is applicable to all categories. Applicants must be ongoing students pursuing ITI, Diploma, PUC, Medical, Engineering, undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) courses. Candidates must have a certified disability as per the RPwD Act 2016. Students should demonstrate academic merit. Applicants must belong to disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds. Applicants must be academically meritorious.
