CSIR Bhatnagar Fellowship
The Bhatnagar Fellowship aims to honor exceptional scientists and technologists, empowering them to excel in scientific research and innovative technology development. By doing so, it contributes to elevating the nation's scientific and technological standing. Bhatnagar Fellowship recipients also play a crucial role as mentors and role models for aspiring young scientists.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates must have made impactful scientific and/or technological contributions, especially within the last 10 years. This can be demonstrated through publications, patents, successful technology transfers, and recognition such as honors and awards.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who are actively working in India and meet the criteria for significant contributions are also eligible to apply.
  • The awardee is expected to have an interest in associating with a mission or thrust area program of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or an area that aligns with CSIR's objectives.
  • The scholarship is eligible for courses in the fields of technology and science, supporting aspiring technologists and scientists pursuing their educational endeavors.
