The Hongirana Charitable Trust is dedicated to empowering students by alleviating financial barriers to education. Recognizing the increasing cost of education, the trust offers Hongirana Scholarship Programs to support deserving students from economically weaker sections. These scholarships are designed to cater to students across various educational levels, ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder academic aspirations.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Recent passport-size photograph Aadhar Card Income Certificate Ration Card Previous year’s mark sheets Valid Email ID and Mobile Number Graduation Certificate (if applicable) Fee Estimation Certificate
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to the state of Karnataka. Applicants must be residents of Mysore, Mandya, or Ramanagara districts This scholarship is open to all genders and categories. Must demonstrate economic need and academic excellence. This scholarship is available for students in Primary, Secondary, Class 10, Class 11, Class 12, Engineering, and Medical programs. Scholarship Programs: Chiguru Scholarship Program: This is open to students from Class 1 to Class 12. Covers tuition fees, books, and hostel expenses (subject to approval). Scholarship renewal is contingent upon maintaining good academic standing. Engineering Scholarship Program: This is open to students admitted to accredited engineering colleges. May cover tuition fees, books, and hostel costs (subject to approval). Renewal is based on academic performance. Medical Scholarship Program: This is open to students admitted to accredited medical colleges. Provides financial assistance for tuition fees, books, and hostel accommodation. Scholarship continuation depends on academic excellence.
