WEnyan Scholarship 2025
The WEnyan Scholarship Program 2025, an initiative by the Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) in collaboration with BASF Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., aims to support girls from marginalized communities and low-income groups in Maharashtra. The program is designed to encourage women to pursue education and careers in Chemistry and related fields such as Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Agro-Chemicals, New Materials, Sustainability, and Specialty Chemicals. It offers financial support, mentoring, networking opportunities, and access to the Indian science-based startup ecosystem. In addition to scholarships for research students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the program also provides a prototyping grant for early-stage women entrepreneurs working in chemistry-related innovation.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card or equivalent) Academic Transcripts College/University ID Card Caste/Income Certificate (as applicable) Updated CV/Resume Research Proposal or Entrepreneurial Plan Bank Account Details Letter of Recommendation (if required)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a female student from Maharashtra belonging to a marginalized community or low-income group. She must be in the final year of an undergraduate (B.Sc./ B.Tech./ B.Pharm. or equivalent) or postgraduate program (M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm. or equivalent), or She must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree and be engaged in research or early-stage entrepreneurship in Chemistry or allied areas. The applicant should have a strong interest or ongoing work in fields such as Basic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Agro-Chemicals, New Materials, or Sustainability.
