Vidyadhan Disability Scholarship for Graduates
Vidyadhan Scholarship Program, initiated by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, is dedicated to supporting the college education of academically outstanding students from economically disadvantaged families. The selection process, involving tests and interviews, occurs after the completion of the 10th grade/SSLC. Presently, the Vidyadhan program encompasses approximately 6500 students in states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, and Ladakh. Chosen candidates are eligible for a two-year scholarship from the Foundation. Continuation of this support is contingent on sustained academic excellence, providing an opportunity to pursue any degree course of their choice. The scholarship amounts for graduation courses range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per year, depending on factors like state, course, and duration. Recipients are encouraged to attend mentoring programs organized by the Foundation.
