Post Matric Scholarship For Students Of The Wards Of Beedi LSDM Workers 2024
The Ministry of Labour, Government of India, offers a significant scholarship program for students whose parents work in the Beedi industry, mining sectors (IOMC, LSDM), or the cinema industry. This initiative aims to support the educational aspirations of students from these crucial sectors by providing financial assistance for their studies.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Passport-size photograph Disability certificate (if applicable) Caste certificate (if applicable) Copy of the parent’s identity card (Form B register number for Mineworkers) Copy of the front page of the bank passbook or canceled cheque Academic transcripts, including mark sheets and certificates of the previous qualifying examination Income certificate of the parent(s)/guardian(s) issued by the Revenue Authority (RA)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian national. The applicant must be enrolled in Class 11, Class 12, Diploma, or Degree programs at a government-recognized institution. The applicant’s parent must be employed in Beedi manufacturing, Iron Ore, Manganese, Chrome Ore, Limestone, Dolomite Mines, or the cinema industry with a minimum of six months of service. The applicant must have passed the last qualifying examination on the first attempt. Income Limit: For supervisory and managerial employees and Beedi workers, the annual family income must not exceed ₹1,20,000. For Cine workers, the annual family income must not exceed ₹96,000.
