Ladakh Post Matric Scholarship
The Ladakh state government has introduced the Ladakh Post Matric Scholarship For ST Students to assist students who have completed their class 12th examination in Ladakh and aspire to pursue higher education. This scholarship aims to alleviate financial constraints hindering students' pursuit of higher education in Ladakh. By providing financial assistance, the scholarship endeavors to reduce the dropout rate among ST students and elevate the overall education rate in the region.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Passed the Matriculation or Higher Secondary or any higher examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.
  • Belong to the scheduled tribe category.
  • Be a permanent resident of Ladakh state.
  • The annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 2 lakh.
  • Not be availing of any other scholarship.
  • Only applicants who have successfully cleared their class 12th examination and belong to the scheduled tribe category are eligible for this scholarship.
