G P Birla Educational Foundation Scholarship 2025
The G P Birla Educational Foundation Scholarship was launched by Smt. Nirmala Birla to honor the vision of Shri G P Birla, a prominent industrialist and philanthropist committed to empowering India's youth through education. This scholarship aims to support academically brilliant students from West Bengal and Jharkhand who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. It enables deserving students to enroll in undergraduate programs across disciplines such as Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Law, and professional courses like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, and Cost Accountancy—provided these are pursued alongside a recognized undergraduate degree. The scholarship not only helps cover educational expenses but also nurtures future leaders by ensuring financial constraints do not hinder academic growth.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Application Form (Applicable for offiline) Passport-size Color Photograph Annual Family Income Proof Certificate Class XII Marksheet Proof of Admission (if available)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal or Jharkhand. The applicant must have passed Class XII in 2025. A minimum of 85% marks is required in the WBCHSE/JAC board exams. A minimum of 90% marks is required in the ISC/CBSE board exams. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed 3,00,000. Exceptionally meritorious students may be considered even if their family income exceeds the limit, at the discretion of the Trustees. The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree course at a recognized university or institution in India.
