The Anant Fellowship, offered by Anant National University (AnantU), is a unique, multidisciplinary, one-year postgraduate diploma program that prepares individuals to become “solutionaries”—innovative and action-oriented leaders in the field of the built environment. Set in the World Heritage City of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the program focuses on sustainable urban development and the socio-cultural dynamics of cities in the Anthropocene era.
Launched in 2017, the Fellowship has nurtured over 160 Fellows from 18 countries across six continents. It is designed for changemakers from diverse academic and professional backgrounds such as architecture, design, engineering, social sciences, law, business, and public policy, and aims to equip them with the skills needed to rethink and reshape the built environment through innovation, empathy, and collaboration.
