The gap between passing the qualifying examination and admission to the degree course should not exceed two years.

Applications will be invited once a year through the National e-Scholarship Portal of the Government of India.

Reserved category students who qualify in the General Category merit list will be counted under the General Category.

Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only verified online applications will be considered.

Students who fail or drop out in subsequent years will not be eligible for further scholarships.

The scholarship will be discontinued if the student receives financial assistance from other sources during her course of study. The entire amount of the scholarship must be refunded to AICTE.

AICTE will implement and monitor the scheme.

To convert Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to percentage, multiply by 9.5.

If both CGPA and total marks are given, total marks will determine the percentage.

If grades are given like A1, A2, etc., they will first be converted to CGPA, then averaged and converted to percentage as per point 8.

A provisional list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the AICTE web portal. Queries about the merit list must be raised within a month of publishing. No queries will be entertained after one month.

Queries regarding non-payment due to invalid/wrong account numbers will be entertained only up to six months from the date of publishing the merit list.
